How do you see it?

An evil **** with no sense of loyalty to the fans, the community or football in general has used Leeds to line his own pocket, and was prepared to see the club fold if he did not get his way.

Trouble is if he is simply out of football forever, we won't witness him suffer.

-15 points and still Wise and Bates knocking around is far more fun, watching them squirm and suffer. Dennis "poison dwarf" Wise's interview today after the failed appeal was superb stuff.

"It's not funny" ... oh I think you'll find it is.
"We need 70 points to stay up now, thanks very much."

As tempting as it may be Dennis, the punishment has not been dished out for fun, it's because your club BROKE THE RULES, y'know, like you BROKE someones jaw after they beat you at cards.

ps bates is a wally but i dont think we can really blame him single handedly for football being the way it is right now.

It would be completely wrong to blame Bates "single handedly", as you put it, but football does definatly NOT need people like him involved in the game.

Football requires people who care about the sport and are dedicated, (as all other sports do i suppose) not people who are out for self gain and make others suffer at there exspense, under the heading "Good Business Man"

i agree.
i dont think i would call him good, he just screwed me over as well. he is clever (rightly or wrongly) though. was one step ahead and forced everyone to blink to him.

but yes. i agree about the football industry and people who are solely after self gain stuff.

not really sure there is a way back now though.

25 points deducted in total is a bit excessive, but they shouldnt have been allowed to go into administration on the last day of the season knowing they were already down

they took a gamble on not being deducted points this season, and it failed big time

so they will need 106 points to win the league - over 35 wins from 46 games

Indeed. Perhaps if the European Superleague ever gets off the ground and we lose the G14 teams then some parity would be restored, however, I very much doubt that the other teams sitting pretty in the Premiership would be willing to share their loot. If we weren't so broke I would request Dick to send the £60k cheque back from their 'gift', ripped up in tiny little pieces.

There is a simple way of bridging the gap between the Premiership, Championship, League One etc. and that is share the wealth rather than a one off measly payment from the £bn TV contract. Don't get me started on parachute payments

I have absolutly no problem with anyone achieving in life, but i do have a big problem with people who make money and let others suffer.

People who follow anything will invariably be blinkered, and believe what they are being told until it is to late, hope he did not take you for to much.
