Would you rather see the cockjuggler out of football forever OR see Leeds suffer with a points deduction.

My personal viewpoint, is although I have had a couple of near death experiences at Elland Road in the early 80's, I would much rather see the end of the evil tyrant from the game.

I quite like seeing KB in football, so long as he is with a club I hate, and he is. It's all good. 15 point deduction too. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!! I also love the fact he thought that he could get sympathy from other FL1 chairman. Hmm. Potential promotion/relegation rival gets 15 point deduction? Clear no brainer.

Bates was welcomed with open arms when he first went to Leeds, he was a hero. Now he's screwed up Leeds I don't have a lot of sympathy.

Meopham, Kent.
Trouble is if he is simply out of football forever, we won't witness him suffer.

-15 points and still Wise and Bates knocking around is far more fun, watching them squirm and suffer. Dennis "poison dwarf" Wise's interview today after the failed appeal was superb stuff.

"It's not funny" ... oh I think you'll find it is.
"We need 70 points to stay up now, thanks very much."

As tempting as it may be Dennis, the punishment has not been dished out for fun, it's because your club BROKE THE RULES, y'know, like you BROKE someones jaw after they beat you at cards.

But he hasn't has he? They will most likely be debt free, which is something that was light years away before Bates arrived. So they will be in league one for a season or three, but that is better than no club at all. He played the perfect game. They have also managed to get rid of most of the passengers that were on big wages as well.

Really? I suppose Alan Thompson who they've just signed is probably on about £7-800 a week then? :shootself

I think he is a pretty good player, but doubt he is on a massive wage. When we beat them at Withdean there was at least one player on £25k+ a week. Presumably someone like Butler, I am sure Starry has more of an idea than I do.

no not butler. but kelly and bakke were both on wages upwards of £25k. think those were the only two left by then.

and there is no one on those sorted of wages now.

naw ridsdale is at cardiff now and bates has introduced a wage cap.

Its quite funny actually, living only about 15 miles from cardiff, as we do, Ridsdale has been interviewed quite alot recently on local telly, and when he is asked about the Leeds situation, you dont have to a degree in human behaviour to see that he is laughing his cock off about it all, obviously he says the correct thing for the cameras though

i dont think many people learn there lessons, do they ?

take Master Bates for example

mr bates is a very clever business man. he now has a debt free club, with a relatively decent squad and some wealthy people lining up to buy it from him. job done!
