Just wondered if anyone knew any info on cheap train tickets to Leeds, had a flop on National Rail £96 return from Brighton any alternatives?

Wrong section. But virgin trains might be worth a try as I can usually get last minute cheap ones from there

all the cheap tickets are going, went in on sunday and the cheapest was about £90 return? we're getting the mega bus from victoria.

bit late to want the cheap train tickets when it's two weeks til the date, they went on sale in mid august. the london whites block buy i think 200 of the tickets straight out.

you could have had £11.25 to london/leeds.

The cheap tickets are available online about 8 weeks before the departure date. Dont get quotes travelling from Brighton to the destination , always start the journey from London to get the cheapest deals. When you add on the cost of tickets from Brighton to London it will work out far cheaper than the rip-off fare of paying on the day. The only downside to prebooking so far in advance is that the match is called off and the fare is non refundable or one of the train companies on the intended route announces engineering works and you have to go part of the way by poxy bus.

You can get there for £34.50 if you are willing to leave at 5.30 am. Get there at 13.05. Then go home at 18.05 and arrive back at 1.20 am . This is on a coach by the way if your interested

not much longer than the train, trouble is you can't get tanked up though

its probably best to get a train back about 8pm, as it will be cheaper and you can find somewhere to watch Engerland take on Kazakstahnialand
