Turner (Cf first name not given) 1 appearance 1913

Turner David John '63-72 338 appearances

Turner Thomas 1905-09 136 appearances

Next name is Tustin.

As I said, the book also covers players who were subs but never made a debut. Unfortunately it does not include players who only made the reserves.

Great find( if he got his own name wrong) but looks the most likely.

Found a Les Turner that played for New Brighton in 1939, listed as an opposition player on a Hartlepool fan site, that club still existed until 1983 so maybe his son?
