Why compare this to Adkins as opposed to all those other L1 manager. Yet another anti Saints threads cammoflaged as something else. When are you lot ever gonna get over us.

Calm down dear. We let you have the three points what more do you want.

Showed how a sportsman should act. Also well done the the Terriers fans for applauding lur team and our mascots before the game and creating a better atmosphere than some teams I could mention....
I hope you grab second spot but think it maybe too late.

i was very impressed by clark. Very few managers would have done what he did. Adkins or Arsene or Sir Alex would never have done such a thing

Clark was a good combative top flight player for Newcastle & Fulham, but never obnoxious,
and has now proven he's a great person too.

If anyones read the Southampton equivalent of the Argus website over the last 8 months, Adkins also belitted/made snide remarks about other clubs. Not just BHAFC.
Thinks of himself as a bit of a Mourinho/Ferguson when it comes to psychology, EXCEPT HE FAILED. BHAFC CHAMPIONS 2011.

So he's exactly like Mourinho? :lolol:
Except without a good tailor perhaps.

I was a bit confused as to why Lee Clark was applauding all four sides of the ground at the end? Bit strange. To be honest I wonder if his comments in the build up and actions were his way of having a little dig at their promotion rivals?

Can only add my thanks to Lee Clark for his sportsmanship towards us, and a few of the cyclists I chatted to outside. Why does such a complimentary thread have to turn into discussing what some prat down the road didn't have the good grace to do,though?

I suppose this is probably the most appropriate place to leave my thanks to you guys for the reception we were given as we arrived at the ground. I was followed up Ditchling Beacon by a Seagull fan who made the effort to chat and said he would be donating to our cause.
As for Clarky, he is a decent guy. I think the little spat he had back in December with Gus was a little out of character, and his applauding all three sides of your supporters was his way of saying "well done and good luck next year". I echo that, you are where you are for a reason. Good luck.
