I think he "picked" King so HIS medical team could have a look at him and understand his medical issue better for himself. I didn't think for a second King would be used in the games.
Call it overzealous but it seems to me for whatever reason Capello has built up a mistrust of other managers, perhaps he was burned in Spain/Italy, we don't know.
