The most irritating aspect of it all is that you're in my ****ing way!!! I don't care if you've paid your admission fee I now can't see because your wife's granddad dog needs feeding at 5.35!!

I cant believe your winging about having to stand up for 1 second to let someone out once a week lol Im guessing they wait until the ball has gone out before they leave?

If it was every 10mins during the game I can understand, someone getting up going for a piss during the game, going to get a beer before halftime, coming back and then going for another piss etc

Much rather miss 10 mins of a game if it means i don't have sit in a queue of stationery traffic.

I think this is what it all comes down to.
Some people would rather not sit in traffic/be an hour late home. Some people would rather see the end of the match.

It's not that big of a deal really.

Seems a fair comment but for those of us near an exit, it means that people block the view completely as when the Albion get near the goal they congregate by it. If you're going to go then go. Don't linger.

Maybe it's the time to for everyone do something quite controversial and leave when the final whistle goes.

I don't understand why so many people get so angry about it. I don't leave early, but having to stand up for about two seconds so someone else can doesn't massively impact on my day to be honest.

It's not a big problem, if I have to leave early, I will wait for a break in play and then go.its funny I find its more of a problem during the first half. It starts with people needing to go to the toilet 10 mins into the game and then after 35 mins when the pie run kicks in. It only takes a second to stand and then sit.

might be with only 17,000 left in the ground it makes for a rubbish feel for the last ten???Not going to inspire the home team much:moo:

Agree with that. Saturday the exodus started on around 35 minutes when their player went down injured.

I think if early leavers did that it would be ok. Certainly in ESU there's a lot who wait until the ball goes back in play, then stand up, start slowly saying goodbye move a little bit and then stare at the pitch waiting for the ball to go out again

Its obvious you have no family, because i want to attend a match it is necessary how the rest of the family are spending the evening,Five minutes before final whistle could easily mean 30 mins queuing for a bus resulting in a late meal,Football is great but there are plenty of other things in life.

I can assure you my domestic situation will not collapse if I'm am 30 minutes late from watching the football.

Apart from the fact that, as mentioned a million times before, it's scientifically proven to reduce the number of goals scored by the home team. Statistically, we would have been promoted last season if everyone had stayed till the end every game.

Pointless thread - no matter if you agree with leaving early or not.

The fact is not all Albion fans read let alone post on NSC and so will be oblivious to this ongoing strop by some.

If you feel that strongly about it, maybe question those who sit near you about why they can't or won't wait until full time to leave and see what they say. Good luck.

Sorry but you really have no right to say this guy is not a fan, just because he has different priorities to you. I often leave early for a variety of reasons, that's my choice and feck anyone who challenges that right, it's none of their business.

Just back from work----Grapes of Wrath----can I just say, I loved that film:love:---they don't make em like that anymore:drama:

I'm sure Westdene Wonder appreciates your efforts on his behalf:blush:

Personally, I think you should shut the feck up and let him speak for himself:)

I would point out my original post was, as always, BANTER:p

It was possible to nip out 10 minutes early and get first in the queue for transport options but yesterday there must have been between 5,000 to 7,000 outside before the final whistle:facepalm: If it means leaving on 75 minutes to get away quickly its going to hardly be worth going any more

might be with only 17,000 left in the ground it makes for a rubbish feel for the last ten???Not going to inspire the home team much:moo:

I'm confused, from what I gather you leave early to avoid the queues at the end, but you think it's bad that people leave early and don't show their support until the end?

I was at the Bernabeu on Saturday and nobody leaves until bang on the 90th minute. Why people leave early at the Amex I really don't know.

Isnt The Bernabeu in the middle of town? I think the fact that The Amex is in the middle of nowhere and people rely on the bus and train to get back to civilisation is the main reason why people leave early. Its not like the old stadiums that are in towns, where people leave the stadium and are walking distance from their homes, cars or pubs etc
