Why does what other people do matter to others so much?

We've had this thread a million times. Not everyone can get home easily and football (surprisingly) isn't the most important thing in the world to everyone.

Maybe the club should start giving gold stamps upon exiting the ground to those who only leave after the full time whistle.

Collect 10 stamps and you get to post once on social media about how great you are compared to fans without stamps.

The transport is a nightmare so you can understand it. It’s even more understandable the evening games but I am surprised how many leave early for the daytime ones as you’d think most people wouldn’t need to rush home.

I left a minute into stoppage time. An Albion player passed the ball into touch, no cool heads. I thought a win incredibly unlikely.

Joined a queue in the rain for Mill Road. Will get home (just 2.5 miles away as the crow flies) an hour earlier and dry. Straight onto a DIY project  and then a long enjoyable evening.

Always seems like I’m one of 10,000 to 15,000 of like minded others. Not said in sarcasm, I guess I’m not into live football as much as others. We’re all different.
DIY is always best done tomorrow!

It's not the leaving that pisses me off most is all the selfish ****s that refuse to get on a train going east and change at Lewes to let more people get on the platform. The 8 car Seaford train left half full with 100's on the platform wanting Eastbourne

Here we go again. The only way of controlling it is physically keeping people in their seats. But, as we live in a democracy, thankfully people are free to come and go as they please!

Brighton factually.....
Better transport solves this at a stroke.

That's it.
Obviously true, but thats the rub of the green, the ground at Falmer was the only option given the green light.
If folks want to leave early, what business is it of mine, totally understand and respect their rights, I’ve noticed quite a few are elderly and probably have issues standing in line especially when it’s cold, give me the stadium with its issues all day long, than nothing.

For the 1st time ever i left before the end of the game Thurs evening, 87mins to be precise. It saved me a good hour getting home. If I'd left full time I wouldn't have got back to park and ride till 11, by that time I was almost at the Dartford crossing. We don't all live within an hr of the ground .

Whilst I don't like seeing the empty seats, the positive side is they have gone on the earlier trains or buses so less congestion there.. Mm

These threads always derail because people get personally offended and act like it's a ridiculous thing to complain about. It is a legitimate issue though. Come 85 minutes everyone starts to slope off and any atmosphere is killed stone dead. When we're chasing a winner in the last minutes there should be a cauldron of noise. Instead we have a bunch of empty seats. There's a reason why when we scored all those last minute goals under Potter basically none of them were at home.
Mind your own business . You pay your money and you do what you like
That's a terrible counter argument. You're entitled to do what you want but I'm equally entitled to criticise. Especially the many people who left 15 full minutes before full time.
