On a practical note it would help if they gave you more warning the game was about to restart in the WSU concourse. I have missed the start of the second half while chatting to people before.

Well I had to leave my seat in the47th minute to go toilet & missed our second goal. I actually thought B'muff had scored because the noise wasn't very loud from the toilets which surprises me as they are actually under the stand thus underneath our own supporters. I was pissed off having thought we were 2-1 down so then bought a pint therefore missing a further several minutes whilst drinking said pint. What a **** I felt when I saw what had happened. Oh well, that'll teach me to leave my seat.

I must confess this does baffle me more than the early leavers. The early leavers do at least have the excuse (lame though it is) that they need to get home for something, have small children so want to avoid the carnage etc. All the tripe we have heard before.

But the pre half time leavers are just doing it to fill their faces or empty their bladder early. If it's the latter you can easily still do this if you leave on the half time whistle. If it's to fill your face with drink or food could you not just wait until the end of the game? If you're at home are you eating and drinking constantly? So why do you need to do so after just 45 minutes. If it's for alcohol that you are missing ten minutes of the match for you have a problem. if it's for food, you will eventually have a problem.

Also for those that say to us remainers, what's the problem I would say it's twofold:

- the atmosphere drops as people leave.
- you get in the way of the remainers trying to watch the match as you trundle off and then trundle back.

Either myself or my mate will leave on 43 to get the half time pint in. EVERY GAME.
Sometimes we don't get back in our seats until after the 2nd half starts.

To date nobody has ever mentioned it, I doubt they will either.

I go get a pint in the first minute and return to my seat in the 89th, service is fantastic.

My first and only post on the subject....I do not understand why this bothers so many people?

I assume you don’t sit near an aisle. Bloody pain in the arse and wouldn’t be so bad if it only happened during breaks in play.

It would help if the catering was organised, too. Early kick off yesterday meant I fancied a pie at half time. They ran out about 5 minutes into half time. I miss d the start of the second half waiting for them to cook some more and then they ran out again! Totally useless organisation.

Leavers at 88 have a decent excuse for missing part of the game but you have none.

I have no understanding at all of missing 10 minutes of a game because you need beer at half time. And spend a chunk of this time missing the match by standing in a queue.

Is it really that important?

It really wouldn't.

Have you every been to a hockey, basketball or NFL game in the US? You can bring alcohol to your seat and it is a nightmare of people standing and sitting standing constantly during the game. I have seen people nearly come to blows over the constant yo yo-ing.

Each to their own again innit? If a pint and a pie is part of your enjoyable match day so be it. There is just way too much judgement and opinions (my opinion) on what is ok and what isnt for what other fans want to do, do what you like and what suits you (to an extent)

It's 15 minutes after the end of the 1st half. I've told you this once and once only. You should be able to remember.

Do you want them to sound a claxon across the city to remind you to get up as well? Or to go to the toilet? It's 15 minutes, it's been 15 minutes for a very long time since they increased the gap from ten minutes (which by the way was clearly the start of this nonsense). How difficult is it for you to work that out?

Yeah thats why I added "to and extent" ie standing in the aisles/blocking views. I dont buy "killing the atmosphere" though as the like "offenders" may not be contributing too much anyway and it's not really selfish is it? (unless you are blocking someones view or something of course)

They should show the game on the TV's in the concourses. Nobody would miss any of the action then whilst negotiating those hopeless queues that still haven't been resolved after 6 years there.

I am trying to find an 'entertainment' venue where I can pop down to meet my chums. Looking for an unfurnished, unheated facility where I can drink beer from a plastic carton and have a modest choice of burgers, hot dogs or pies. Also should be no where to sit so that we need to stand all the time and in the way of other users of the facility.

Oh and finally it would be the icing on the cake if the venue could provide a live sporting event to pop out and see for a minute or two if my chat got boring, beer got flat or burger be chewy.

It doesn’t bother me but in the row behind me in WSU there are a block of 5 seats, all guys ages 25-45, who all arrive on say 6 minutes in, leave together on 34/35 mins, come back around 51/52 minutes in.

Horses for courses I know but it’s a little odd. One of them going to get the beers in for the others would make sense but they regularly miss about 30% of each match.
