I couldn't care less whether or not we hurt the feelings of the Germans. I am glad they're out - they deserve it. I won't be hiding a smile - I will be wearing the widest grin I can manage.

don't get me wrong...same here!

it's just that that type of comment is in my book's ok if i say it, but a little suspect on national tv!

Don't you think we are too politically correct and sensitive these days, afters? You can't say this, you can't say that, England is a free country where you should have freedom of speech. I often think the political correctness goes too far - its ok for others to diss the English but when its the other way round, God forbid.

Same here. And I bet that's exactly the same reason why the Czech Republic went out and beat them, even though the match meant nothing to them and they could've sat back and done nothing.
