[Albion] Least Awfulist Method Of Travel

Over for the FUL match. I've tried train and driving/parking in the past. I think I'd like another method. Traveling from Rottingdean (have a car if necessary), what is the consensus least awful way to travel to/from The Amex?

It's a valid question. Being stuck in the car park in the rain for over an hour after a game is not great. I would also like to hear what people feel is best - coming from Littlehampton direction in my case.

get the train from Bognor for all games bar evening kick offs. Trains normally go into LA then out again. Always seats but we tend to start travel 4 hours before KO. Beer after match then into Brighton for train back normally 1 hours after end of match.. Never seems to be an issue

Drive and book parking on someone's driveway with JustPark. If it's not already booked out, Moulsecoomb Leisure Centre is perfect.

It is, but accept that it is a long (return) walk, for many. However @Marlton and Hove Albion you can park in the industrial estate at Woodingdean, and walk from there. From there it is 25 minutes at most down to the Amex, and about 35 back up the hill after the game.

There's no shelter from any wind or rain. I imagine it's a great walk on a fine day, but any sort of awful weather....

You are absolutely correct. It can be rather grim on the wrong day.

To be honest though, I didn't feel the need to explain to the chap, that walking across the South Downs on a nice sunny afternoon, is a nicer experience than at 11pm on a stormy night!

Sorry to be lazy, is there no bus from Rottingdean seafront up/down Falmer Road dropping/picking up at the Uni? I like the walk downhill idea, but no bus operating?

The 2 will take you to the Downs Hotel (or whatever its called now).
