For the Brighton one you have to know all the roads, plus the other roads at each end. Well that was the case 10 years ago. Make up some flash cards.
As an aside, a study showed that London Cab drivers have a larger hippocampus than your average person (you've not been charged for that useless bit of information).

They must tell you on the gumph they give you what you need to know? If you want a PH license for Uber then there are easier places. Most Uber drivers pick Lewes or Chichester as they're not very strict on licensing.

That's Uber (or should be!).

Uber have killed the taxi trade for Brighton drivers, I had a driver with a Portsmouth plate the other month! But I use Uber! I'm part of the problem, I moan that Uber drivers are coming in from Portsmouth, but still use Uber.
