Annoying that it's all ended so publicly, considering it's a good move for him (even though he will likely be a squad player), that it was our last real chance to make a decent profit on him given his age & contract situation and that he's been a good player for us. I'm sure most of us would have wished him well if this had all been done behind closed doors but ho hum, he obviously isn't particularly bothered about his legacy with us, so whatever. Footballers & agents just doing what they do.

When I said we need a 'replacement' earlier, maybe not a like for like one as Mitoma is obviously superior, but we certainly need another option who can play across the front three before the window SLAMS shut IMO.

If he goes then it's, good luck Leo, you wanted your big move, you've got it and your agent is breathing a sigh of relief that he got his payday as well.

It'll be a blow to the squad, he is immensely talented, match winner, but thanks for the memories, some glorious ones, especially Tottenham away last season. Firmly onboard the trust in Bloom bus, he'll get the price he wants, we've plenty of talent coming through, everyone is a winner.

Shame it is has come to this, but the truth is we can name an XI without Leo and still looks pretty flipping brilliant. Shame Trossard's time here is ending under somewhat of a cloud, but should this Arsenal move come off at a fee we are happy with then that will be fine with me. Arsenal is a very good fit for Leo, and I hope he does well. I'm glad this is being sorted quickly rather than letting it fester and getting too rancorous.

You're right of course - I'm hoping Sarmiento fulfills his early promise, so we can sell Trossard with minimal disruption to the team

We have a pretty sizeable squad.

Plenty of options available within the squad Mitoma/March/Lamptey/Sarmiento as wingers, then there's Ferguson/Welbeck/Undav as forwards.
Some unproven youngsters/loanees to come, Buonanotte/Adingra/Sima/Zeqiri

If anything we probably need to be making a decision on who to let go.

I'd imagine his slimy agent, Jizzy Cum-hair or whatever he's called, has been stirring the pot big time and telling Leo how he's better than little old Brighton.
I've always liked Leo, even knowing he blows hot and cold and can often go missing for weeks at a time, I knew that when he played well he plays a blinder. But this little temper tantrum of his has tarnished that for me, he's acted like a whining bitch and I fully expect him to fade into obscurity with the likes of Cucu and Biss.
The grass is most definitely not always greener, sunshine. Cheerio.
