Why shouldn’t he? The rumours were flying around about Trossard, De Zerbi stepped in and said how it was. Nothing wrong with that - he wants 100% commitment, Trossard, obviously, wasn’t going to give that. Roberto has said his piece, where he stands and what he expects. Now down to Leandro to knuckle down and fight for his place (and the opportunity to woo prospective suitors) or sit in the corner and sulk.This tit for tat is not going to sit well with Bloom I should imagine, with dirty laundry being aired in public. That is not the Brighton way. Not sure De Zerbi should be sharing half of that stuff in the press conference, however refreshing it was to hear.
