Bloody Worthing!
Jimmy Hill's beard, that strange way of cutting the grass at the old stadium, that Cup Final victory, the bombing during the Blitz, the sky-blue kit. This iconography means it must be Coventry.

Plus Exeter is a rugby town.

Coventry - their fans have been totally dumped on

But I think it will be Exeter

(why are the thread title and the poll different ? It's very confusing)

Yes, I made a big balls-up. Putting who you want and think will win are completely different. It's like Bromley playing Crystal Palace in the FA Cup. 100% for Bromley (want) and near 100% for think Palarse winning.

Apologies for the confusion.

Edit: it's who we want to win. Coventry had some unpleasant fans at the Amex in February. Exeter definitely for me.

Born in Devon, near Exeter, so got to be the Grecians for me

(in case anyone is wondering - which I doubt - the nickname apparently comes from a fair at Southernhay in the 1700s, in which the Siege of Troy was enacted - the team that played there (St Sidwell's Old Boys) changed their name to Exeter City and were given the nickname "Grecians")

Did the St Sidwell's All Boys all have ginger hair and were they allowed to shag the wives of fans?

I've got a mate who's an Exeter fan. According to him they were the first ever team to play Brazil's national team. Can't remember the details but seemed quite plausible after 10 pints.

Coventry. I've got a good mate here who's flown back to London just to go to the match.

Ah but is he a plastic then...you know like some people on here think all Liverpool fans are?

Football strip pornography for those of us who like that sort of thing - blue and white stripes v red and white stripes, plus black and white hooped socks on Exeter. Who cares about the quality of the football when you've got that sort of visual feast on a lush green surface?

Terrible half of football. It's certainly humid at Wembley. Maybe a reason for cancelling each other out.

But Real Madrid and Liverpool was 0-0 at half-time and had enough drama in the second period to talk about for hours. Fingers crossed it gets better.........
