..........Beckford released by Bolton who I would sign, but all the experts on here say he is past it.
I have said it on many threads but been told he is past it. The man is a goal scorer irrespective of division he knows where the goal is.
......don't think he's as good as you claim he is and doesn't have form that suggests he's a player to get you to the top 6 or better.
Oh good, inherited Burnley, PNE, shite view QPR, MK and may not yet lose the distant 'Boro. Not been great for travel next term has it?
Since leaving Everton, he has scored 24 goals in 112 Championship appearances. His stats don't back that up, goal scorer at League 1 level but has never got double figures in a season in The Championship. Had a decent spell on loan at Huddersfield and got 8 in 21 games but next best return is 9 in 39 games for Leicester. don't think he's as good as you claim he is and doesn't have form that suggests he's a player to get you to the top 6 or better.
His career total is 285 games 154 goals at all levels which is better than a goal every other game. Now a free agent and is a much better investment than Best, Vokes or Obika. According to WA on the radio we went after him a couple of years ago but he wanted £40k a week. Wouldnt command much now probably £8 -£10k max.

If you are discounting substitute appearances, then you need to subtract goals scored in those appearances. His career total is 285 games 154 goals at all levels which is better than a goal every other game.
