Moi aussi. It depends if Jack believes his surname to be a drinking straw (paille) or straw for thatch in which case he'd be Jacques Chaume I believe. There must be quite a few frenchies with either name and a decent digital camera who support le Havre I'm sure.

I know same architects as well. But i don't think we would have got an illuminated blue bubble through the planning application to be honest.

Thought this looked stunning in designs, personally i would have loved Falmer to look like this, same Architects again who designed our stadium.

Originally, Falmer were going to copy the Munich Allianz outside of changing lights, now similarily seen here at Le Havre. I know this from the Albion's directors.

I wonder if local opponents of the Amex, or typically UK H&Safety re a distraction to the A27 traffic, stopped it.

It does look a great stadium fit to grace any league.

Unfortunately for Le Havre, it looks like it'll be hosting third tier footy (Le National) next year. Le HAC are currently in the relegation zone in Ligue 2, two points from safetly with three games left.

They'll be lucky to average 5,000 in Le National.

Yeah you're most definitely right but I can just picture how nice that would have looked with the backdrop that we have.

Saying that though I reckon if we ever get seats that fill the current gaps completely that should make quite the difference inside the ground.

In terms of the outside we'll just have to wait for planning permission and our Tony to dish out some more funds for an upgrade!

Not that I'm moaning or anything......
