What all the pundits appear to have overlooked in their praise of Saints last weekend is that Saints played a Liverpool side that must have been a little weary having played extra time and pens in Istanbul on the previous Wednesday. Perhaps that is why they gave them a good game?

He keeps saying he "Saw Swansea play under Potter" does this mean he still hasn't seen Brighton play under Potter!? Although to be fair he called the one all draw even if his assessment of the match was pulled out of his arse. I think he is correct in that one team will win 2 zip but it wont be Southampton.

???

Leyton, E10.
Hopefully the result will provide a sufficient explanation and dispose any need for all future pre-match threads displaying the same naivety / arrogance.

You can’t account for red cards.

That game would not have been 0-2 without Andone’s idiocy.

Well he was right but for all the wrong reasons. We were far and away the better side, let down by a complete ****wit and another JL howler.

On the fence with a 1/1 predicted

Well if you believe some on here that’s quite optimistic as we don’t have any goal threat other than an old man, a wet behind the ears kid and an unproven Championship player, so obviously we are doomed. I think the one goal for us is extremely optimistic in the circumstances, brave call by Lawro
