Yes, the fragrant Lucy Beale is being replaced due to a combination of poor acting ability and off screen "antics"
'Tis a pity they don't shoot some of the scriptwriters too given the garbage they churn out.
It seems there is a series of "circular" stories which just keep repeating themselves over months or even years.
As a few examples.... 1,Phil Mitchell.... sober/drunk
2, Ian Beale... opening a new business/ going bankrupt
3, Jack Branning shagging Ronnie or Roxy or A.N. Other
4, Minty either hiding from Heiffer or in love with her
5, Max Branning humping Stacy or Tanya

The first five are like a light switch, just flick them on or off ! tha last 2 are often combined for even more gloom !
