Over there
Didn't really tell us anything we didn't already know but a nice little bit on us. Barber was articulate, Jesse was a good signing for us, we need to count all the pennies, the Amex always looks gorgeous on film.
The big thing was having spent £64 million, the amount of shite Q.P.R could be in if they fail to go up.
Let's hope they fail to go up

If a team deliberately overspends and manages to get promotion then a £28 million fine is not going to worry them too much. However those who fail........

Perhaps FFP was thought up by lawyers!

Those who fail don't get fined - that would be counter productive. They get a transfer embargo placed on them until they can demonstrate they they're on course to comply.

The way things are going for Burnley, one of QPR and Forrest - possibly both - are going the be funked.

I think it ought to worry them ... it does mean they'll have to recruit 10 players on £50,000 a week LESS than if they didn't have the fine. Or if they take a slightly longer view then it's 10 players x £15,000 p.w. for THREE years. Or else they will fall foul of FFP in the Premiership.

Surely that's got to hurt? Or perhaps you're right and it's all bollocks as they'll just ride roughshod over any attempt to impose FFP.
