Quite possible as the South Stand used to be the favourite of those travelling down from Haywards Heath.Was this some corporate day out?
In the later 60's, I sat for a couple of (sparely populated) games in the South, over to the west side of the goal. (Smith, Napiers, Spearrit, Duffy, Templeman)
Sorry to be picky, but Duffy joined in 1970.
I know as we debuted on the same day!
My one and only visit to the south stand was for my very first match at the Goldstone and sat in those seats. It was a friendly game against Chelsea which we lost 2-0.
