Always seemed so much better live... although I only ever saw it live twice (the two nights at Cadogan Hall in London in 2008, one of which had DG guesting!), I've heard most of the live recordings "out there" of the piece in concert.

Thank you for the pointer. I have found the 2008 one on a podcast and now I am listening to the Brighton Dome 1972 concert. I really need to find someone else to listen to, soon.

Just going to have to come out & say it - i'm really enjoying the new Jesus & Mary Chain (Damage & Joy) album. Produced by Youth with a couple of tracks BV by Isobel Campbell. It's got touches of early Primal Scream, Velvet Underground even The Ronettes! - sounds familiar even on first listen.
