I have a pair of binoculars, and made a point - late afternoon - of viewing the horizon through them.

What you can't see with the naked eye is that the stumps (which will eventually be the uprights) look like an invasion. Dozens of them in view. Quite a sight.

How bad is your eyesight? You can see all the stumps when driving down snakey hill.
