Sounds very similar to mine, its a D800 by the way ..

Mines an Inspiron 6000 with a Pentium processor, runs at about 1.70 I fink. Absolutely perfect for all my NSC / Poker / Music / Filth requirements.

I've had a Dell laptop for just over a year now, and its been brilliant. Its had a fuckload of porn on it, real flith, and its still running like a goodun.

Just don't buy Advent, PC Worlds own brand. I bought one, its been nothing but trouble and the level of support is, quite frankly shite..

I used be very pro Dell but since working on this new job I did wonder why such a large organisation would change their supplier quite so completely. Granted a factor was that unlike IBM and Siemens Dell have no outsourcing company of their own.

Still neither has HP. The main thing is that the Dell is badly built compared to the HP. Ironically the same company uses Lexmark for most of its printers !

All thats left of the three year old Dell desktops in work is their failing monitors and dodgy keyboards. IBM/Lenovo ThinkCentres all round now.

Used to be ace, now pure crap.
