Thank you for taking the trouble to let us know.
Well liked? Yes, the man was loved by all who met him.

After that NSC sponsored game I passed out in the back of my car, after I eventually found it.

Still, I fared better than some.Tom Hark Preston Park (who posted back then as Anne on a Mouse) tells the story of the deep gouge in his front door - made by his key as he slid down the door whilst attempting to open the lock.

A day with Lance was a day never to be forgotten, except it was usually impossible to remember.

RIP Lance :drink::drink::drink::drink::drink::drink:

RIP legendary Lance - tho only knowing the geezer briefly from that astoundingly drunken NSC sponsored match, it would not surprise me in the least if he'd 'done a canoeman'. And I mean that in an affectionate way. Never ever seen anybody exhibit such a high level of GLEE at blagging an extra round of desserts at the sponsors meal :lol:

The deep gouge in the front door is still there BTW. Permanent reminder of a hazily remembered session. A gouge of PRIDE! :)

Raising a glass to you mate, wherever you are :cheers:

I'm going to give this a bit of a bouncey in happy remembrance of the much-missed old fella.

As it has been bounced, I met him a few times at Withdean. Top bloke. I hope people remember me like that one day (but please not for a long time yet!).
