We need to set some defensive fields tomorrow and hope they don't set us anything over 20.

Or maybe one of their micro climates will come to our rescue.

Lancs have us where they want us, we may scrape a draw if we get enough rain, then they will MOAN it will cost them another nailed on championship....

Great stuff so far Sussex, look forward to resuming normal service tomorrow with some nice AMEX pies and domino winning deliveries to dismiss our terrible batsman.

It will be all over just after lunch as we stutter to 1 all out needing 2 to win. So predictable. My bet on last place and no wins this season is looking all the better tonight!

Wow just realised what a clash that fixture is with the FA semi, why not play the Liiverpool v Everton on the Sunday
To be honest, they should.

Anyway, looks like our fun in the cricket is over, Lanky still only 4 down an looking like they'll stroll to an easy victory now.

Normal service is being resumed, nailed on centuries from this pair and then a collapse from Sussex tomorrow, ah well we took it to four days I suppose......

Love ths amusing thread. Expect nothing and anything is a bonus. It is right though to not get too serious about Sussex cricket. Just enjoy the ride, now where have I heard that before ?

Not looking good. 20 odd in front with 4 wickets left to get. Sussex are doomed!!
We still need 3 wickets, but they're only 16 behind now. We came so close, but always the way.
