With three of our best players out injured for some time, what a team we have that we can manage so well without them. It's so easy to criticise, but there's an awful lot right with our recruitment that we have the depth to do this, so let's have a bit of praise. Best squad we've ever had!

Before Southampton and Newcastle threads emerged about preparing for life in the championship and Fulham had more fight than our squad it’s getting so reactionary on here to the point of stupid.

It was interesting listening to five live wittering on about poor old Steve Bruce and the absenses through injury Newcastle have had. That idiot Chis Sutton was implying the Magpies were somehow the only club apart from Liverpool to have had any issues and Bruce couldn't be held responsible for the poor performance against us. Apparently it's all down to injuries and the players not trying hard enough.

Lets just hope that Ashley thinks that way too.
