If Lamptey was available for sale then I’m sure you’d have more than Arsenal & Everton interested. & considering Chelsea have a sell on percentage £30m seems the absolute minimum we’d want, probably higher.

£30m is laughable. If the boy can stay fit then he's a £50m sale all day long. Look at what Man Utd paid to Wan Bisaka who seems half the player.

My understanding too.

I thought the intial fee was £2m+ with some increments built in talking the overall purchase price to potentially circa £3m+, but no sell on clause.

There was lots of talk initially that Chelsea had a buy back clause, but that was said to be nonsense, but lots of websites seemed to think they instead had a sell on percentage.
