And yet you're the one who is making a sweeping assumption that only working class people live in Whitehawk as well as derogatory remarks about working class Brits abroad and accusing someone of living in a caravan when they don't. East Brighton has a higher crime rate and proportion of violent crime than central Hove despite the latter having dozens more late night licensed establishments. I'd be a bit mad not to take extra care there just as I would if I didn't look after myself if I was out in one of those establishments or down West St on a Saturday night.

Can't find many stories about that out there but here's a very random one of the many documented suicide attacks on buses by Palestinians.

As for getting stabbed in a bus queue it completely matters where you live and what time of day it is. I wouldn't be at all worried in daylight in the centre of Hove but I would at say 10pm in Whitehawk. That's not to say it would happen. Merely that it would be sensible to be more vigilant in the second scenario.

It's the young, urban hoodie we're wary of rightly or wrongly and I'm equally cautious of the white ones as the black or asian ones.
