he's a better option than 2 goals welbeck and daniel sturridge - he can score goals, as he proved last night - his job is to score goals and he has done it at every level including one of the biggest leagues in the world

get him in for the wc, he's peaking right now

I'd say he's a different option to the more mobile players that are Wellbeck and Sturridge. Wellbeck scored and was quality last night. All be it against a poor Scotland side.

They should give Lallana a call-up too. Lambert and him would be a mean double-subsitution.

Lallana seemed to have a deeply underwhelming season last time round.
