Never a dull moment eh !
Good questions. Honest interview. Definitely gave the impression that there'd been some arguments in the dressing room after that, which wouldn't be a surprise or particularly unusual. Wonder if he felt some of the stuff flying around was unfair though. Sounds like the youngsters are losing heart a bit and maybe copping some flak. A lack of confidence among them would also be understandable as they haven't got the experience to see the bigger picture.
Probably something that one good result will fix - let's hope so.
Barco must be wondering if he made the right choices by coming here.... two squads, two defeats,.... moody dressing room, half the so called star players out for one reason or another.....Just seen this interview. It wasn’t weird or strange. If I am to read anything into it, it’s that he’s trying to lift and encourage some younger players who might be doubting themselves.
... no it doesn't matter ...Bounce back with three points on Thursday and all will be ok.
For those who haven’t seen it
Lacking eye contact, look at Postecoglou, spends the entire time staring at the floor during interviews, rude. His body language was odd. Hopping around. Lacking eye contact. Saying the defeat "doesn't matter". All a bit strange. Probably nothing in it but I do wonder what's gone on behind the scenes. If anything.
I'm guessing RDZ picked on one or two players in the dressing room and Lallana didn't like it.Sounded like there was some sort of major bust up...all that stuff about needing to "stick together" and not blaming individuals. tbh, it sounded more like he was directing it all to his team mates rather than us. let's hope it gets sorted out before Thursday. Lallana is an incredible pro, and I'm VERY happy that he's part of this club. Let's hope - whatever happens to RDZ - he sticks around for many seasons to come.
Alan Partridge wrote the book about it.He’ll bounce back - people bounce back. Dennis Hopper, Rolf Harris - there are others.
