There were loads of ladybirds over in France when I was there a month ago, maybe they prefer to stay in the EU.......
Have they all flown away home because their house is on fire?
Would make sense.
There are indeed fewer ladybirds this year. But then again, fewer blackfly too.
I wonder if the particularly cold and wet Winter has had an effect?
My garden was full of butterflies the other day, so maybe the "plague" has passed.
No wasps around here, a few ladybirds on the plot even though there's enough of blackfly about.
Loads of sodding white cabbage butterfly though!!

Did you enjoy watching the Good Life in your younger days at all?
Along with many Brexit voters...

Yes chap, especially the scenes with a certain Felicity Kendall
Not one ladybird, wasps in the bee hive, barstrads, only cabbage whites no others, strange year.
Yes l have to admit, l liked a bit of Barbara too,
I'm thinking of getting a bee hive so a quick few questions if I may - does it matter wasps are in there ? Do they attack the bees ? How do you get rid of them ?
I've seen loads of cabbage whites on my lavender. They love it, along with lots of bees.No wasps around here, a few ladybirds on the plot even though there's enough of blackfly about.

The ladybird plague was preceded by a greenfly plague as I recall. Where are the aphids?

True, and not a single greenfly on the roses, nor whitefly on my fuschias.
I'm sure you've left yourself open for the innuendo police
Its been hard going this year, especially with constant watering of plants.
