Why do you think they privatised it in the 1st place

It was an ideological (and money-raising) decision by the Major government, who had very few other public utilities left to sell. Even Thatcher refused to privatise the railways. And even senior Tories admitted later that the way it was done, with the break-up into so many sections and the track separated from the train companies, was mistaken.

Regardless of how ineffective Mrs.May is as PM, anyone who thinks that Corbyn/McDonnell and Abbott are what this country needs is seriously deluded.

I don't think it's that its necessarily what the country 'needs', it's just that everyone is so frustrated with what a complete pigs ear the Tories are making of everything, that people want a change; and that Labour are the only real alternative. Sure there's other parties but they have more chance of gaining power as I do of riding the 2.30 winner at Haydock.

OK, it went over your head. I was referring to you way of ending your posts.

Trump would use BAD etc etc
You use NASTY PARTY etc etc.

'What's that got to do with what I posted. Typical of the left bring race into the argument. Nasty party.
Anti Semitic Labour rotten to the core. Do carry on quoting race issues of the 60s . Times have changed Do keep up. Nasty party.'

'I know HG and corbyn does and says nothing to condemn this. Positively encouraging it. Nasty party.'

You post in a similar style. Thats all. So, please calm down and stop frothing.
I can assure you I'm not frothing or upset. In fact I type with a smile.

I think that whilst she was part of Kensington TMO superior cladding was on the specs, it was changed after she had left.

The Tories are not being led effectively and their communication with the general public is woeful; however, for the time being I hope and pray they remain in power and get their act together, because the alternative is truly frightening.
This cultish hero worship of Corbyn is quite pathetic and I am appalled by the silence of moderate Labour MP's who seem to have either given up or magically been converted to the Messiah's way of thinking.
Looking at some of the antics reminds me of the North Korean 'Fat Boy's' delude worshippers!

Completely agree. Corbyn is a danger to this country. I've never thought that before about any major party leader

Stop being such a drama queen. The current government are far more of a "danger" than Corbyn/Labour. I'd get used to it, plenty more to come! :)

But will they though? I think after the aftermath of the Brexit vote everyone just wants them to get on with it, but they seem to be struggling even to get the wheels in motion with that. I hoped that the scare of the last election would be the kick up the arse May and her cronies would need, but they seem to be as ineffective as pre-Election.

I'm also unsure about the comparison between Labour fans and the NK populace - in NK they are told what to think and what they are exposed to is heavily monitored - at least over here people have the choice as to who they throw their weight behind.

It's because a few posters on here deliberately get the differences between communism and socialism confused as it suits their agenda. Theresa May is far more like a dictator than Corbyn will ever be.

Fairly obvious. No one with more than 2 brain cells would vote for a Marxist and terrorist sympathiser to be leader of the once respected Labour Party. Except marxists, socialists, communists and Islamists and silly naive lefty idealistic students oh and the workshy

Yeah right on Enoch. Glad we've got good old 'strong and stable' TM at the helm in times of instability, thank god she's got a grip on the whole situation.

I use the phrase Nasty Party because they are awash with accusations of anti-semitism. I would say that's nasty.

Labour are a Democratic socialist Party and under Corbyn they are returning to their democratic routes and the establishment is fearful that ordinary people up and down the nation are having a real influance and in doing so Labour are coming up with ideas that resonate with a lot of people.

The opposition is in a complete mess clinging onto power an election could be called anytime which Labour can win.
