Aaaaanyway. I'm not going to respond on the immigration debate any more as it'll only get messy. Back on topic. We're not even a month in and Labour has suspended 7 MP's from the party for 6 months. John McDonnell included who is an arse hat!.

How would you know? You’re so dyslexic you can’t understand anything apparently, yet you’re managing to post ten to the dozen when it suits you.

Dyslexia is not an excuse to troll.

Dyslexia is not an excuse to post libel or lies.

Dyslexia does not give you immunity from having stupid views called out.

And it doesn’t give you a protected characteristic beyond people taking apart the odd wrong word.

NSC has been worse since you arrived and I’m pretty sure I know who you are. WHAT you are is on very thin ice. Capiche?
But I am trying to reply to people, isn't that the right thing?
I get mentally tired after a while so take a break, it takes me a monumental effort to keep up with all the questions people ask me.
I deal with as many as I can.
Who have I trolled?

I really don't understand the stupid call thing?

People have to make room for dyslexic people as they do a disabled, blind person. I have been very upfront about it what more can I do?
I am sorry if you feel it's been worse, but is it really me or others that don't want to hear a different viewpoint?

I really am trying to abide by any rules and I thought I have done okay on that front.

What you’re trying to do is create a bubble for yourself where you can post anything.

We’re not stupid.

NSC doesn’t have a numbered, bullet pointed rule sheet but it does have A rule - don’t be a dick.

So don’t be a dick & you’ll be fine.

Realistically the country (including, it seems, NSC) is going to be unable to have a serious conversation with itself on immigration until it stops coming from a starting position of “so how much do YOU want immigration cut by?”

It’s just weird. Nobody would start a discussion on Brighton’s season 2023/24 by asking “so how many of our first team squad should we sell, then?”

It’s an issue that’s sadly been weaponised by the extreme right and extreme left.

We should all be able to agree that zero immigration is nuts and unlimited immigration is also nuts.

But none of us can agree what the middle position looks like.

This is the crux. Most agree we can and should allow workers with skills we need into the U.K. and that we should live up to our international responsibilities regarding asylum seekers.

The issue begins when we are asked to put a number on it.

I feel it’s an issue that is almost impossible to solve.

Not sure this is a wise move by Sir Keir.

Rebecca Long Bailey and Richard Burton also suspended. He would do well to remember that these people helped Labour to half a million more votes in the last election overall than they got in this recent one. The LongBailey Burgon dream ticket was the natural successor to Corbyn.

Not surprised about that. A party with a large majority can stomach disagreement and present it as healthy.

Of course the elephant in the room is the economy.

Western capitalist economies generally need population growth for economic growth. The reason immigration hasn't fallen is the economy is desperate for workers through various sectors; healthcare, farming, construction. Immigration growth isn't down to Tory incompetence, it's down to economic need.

It's an impossible issue to solve because no one wants to admit to this raw truth.

I don't want to reply to this, but unfortunately I have to.

I am really not creating a bubble for myself at all. All the things I have told you are real.

I think in a face to face situation some might disagree with my politics but not my integrity, I like others may feel strong about things, I may pick the wrong word to use by others but that just the way I was built.

Of course you're not stupid but perhaps most are not as open as me about my brain MakeUp.

Perhaps I could do a specific dyslexia ADHD thread, where others might want to express their issues on the heavy admin work loads of 2024 and how they do work arounds that work for them. Or help those understand to the way we rock.

See my ADHD for example can easily throw me off topic, or I can mis read or understand something, I could post on the wrong thread the wrong thing, that seems to upset some. But it really isn't deliberate, it's like the ball is there to be won and my tackle gets slightly mistimed, a referee that understands football will realise it was unintentional.

Regarding the number on immigration is difficult to put a number on it, I would say 0 for now, we have over 2 million extra, I think think this is more than ample for now to cover many sectors or work, but it's massively mis Proportioned, men to women.

So what does Labour in the first few days of government take the deterrent off the table and give them all nice hotels to live in, how anyone can believe that will drop the numbers I'd really beyond me.

Perhaps they could have held on to the Tories method at the same time applied the Cooper smashing the gangs to deter and stop the issue.

The forthcoming numbers will tell the story, of that I am sure.

I know this is an extremely long post, it has taken me a lot of hyper focus to have done it but my ADHD pushes me all day everyday. But doing this it will tire me out very quickly. So I won't be doing another for a while!

Luckily for you there’s a thread all about neurodiversity where you can share experiences and issues. Here it is.

I’ll bounce it for you in a second. Please use that thread for posts such as this and keep your card playing off the other threads. Ta.

There's various issues relating to the economy. You are correct in that we do need immigration to fulfil specific roles no doubt such as NHS, Sciences etc. but the quarter of the population who are economically inactive leaves a massive hole in our available workforce and thus reduces the tax income to the treasury.

I know there are unavoidable circumstances for a lot of those, Students, carers etc. but 2.5 million off sick sounds far too high. Add that to the 1.4m who are unemployed and that's a massive chunk of the employable population.

I don't think the vast majority of people who cite immigration as a concern are against documented genuine arrivals for a purpose but we see far too many (probably hyped up) examples of where those immigrants offend, re-offend and are not removed or detained at the very least. It is a basket case that no government has really got to grips with, fingers cross this latest lot can.

Our unemployment rate is relatively low at 4.4%, although the gig economy and zero hour contracts do obscure those figures. There will always be those unsuited to particular types of work, and gaps in the labour market are not always able to be filled by those out of work.

Immigration is an historic propaganda tool and through a period like a financial crisis, covid etc. as history will tell you, you can always blame things on the immigrants. If we were able to properly discuss / debate what immigration is, how it impacts society and the economy without the Mail, Express, Sun, GBNews creating populist hysteria, we might actually get somewhere.

This thread is verging into the subject of many previous threads on the subject of immigration. The plain fact is, around 75% of "illegal" immigrants are granted asylum when the Home Office actually get round to examining their cases.

And, by the way, you don't need a valid passport to claim asylum in this country, and we can NOT turn asylum-seekers straight back once they are inside home waters.
This poster's misunderstandings have been pointed out to him on another thread.

He doesn't want to understand the processes and laws about this subject.

The brain is far too well washed to even do a little research and find the answers to that what confuses and angers him.

Images in the media like this crank up the fear factor. A Roma immigrant encampment in Park Lane, one of the nations most prestigious addresses.

Just what Labour can do about it in the next 5 years?

Perhaps shorten the gap between those able to afford £20m 2nd or 3rd homes in Park Lane and those with nothing?

If your hyper focus was driving your post it would have been easy not hard, probably longer and absolutely the only thing that your adhd brain would want, or let you do.

The challenges of Adhd come when we are expected to do things outside our hyper focus (pretty much everything). Riding the hyper focus train is easy, getting off and doing boring shit is where the difficulty lies.

I have worked with neurodiverse kids and families for years, including my own. I recognise the neurodiverse on here through their quirks and posting style.

I am quite prepared to be wrong about you but something doesn't quite ring true with your posts.

My suggestion would be to stop playing the nejrodiverse card everytime to are getting panned in a discussion. You are weakening all our positions in a neurotypical world. This is either, if you are neurodiverse, irritating and unhelpful or, if you are not neuro diverse, disgusting and unforgivable.

Happy to continue this over on the neufodiversity thread. Perhaps read it first though and understand some of the challenges people have been through/are going through.
