A pointless conference unless you are a back slapping Trotskyist or Momentum member having their “moment” believing that a rag tag bunch of incompetent nobodies with unworkable and laughable policies could ever get elected to power. In its present form Labour is a joke of a party wholly unrepresentative of the people they expect to vote for them. The present Conservative administration is a shambles, so basically we’re all fecked!

@bbcquestiontime releases an infographic on 13th Sept 2018 showing a previous breakdown of panellists to announce the new series of question time.

A few hours later on the 14 September @BBCBrokenNews release their own, all figures are the same except the headers UKIP and other panellists has been swapped, colours and the date changed.

What a remarkable set of coincidences on identical figures separated by 15 years........double LOL

Yes, I know, but the QT breakdown is interesting. It's often been commented on NSC, that the panel is unrepresentative especially when UKIP don't have any sitting MPs whereas Green has one.

I think if you're solely into self-serving then relative to being an MP there are numerous jobs that are considerably better paying, involve far less work and also don't carry the risk the occasional nut job trying to kill you.

I'm not sure "be an MP" would be anywhere near the top of my list.

For some. You said "Most politicians are in it for themselves" - I think that most are the complete opposite. Most have no hope of reaching the top of the political ladder, and have no ambition to get there. They work mainly for the benefit of their constituency, whilst retaining some regard for the country as a whole.

I'm amazed that 71% of people can understand it enough to form a judgement. I've worked in the employee share plans industry, and I'm not sure I get it.
