Not trawling through this thread on the basis of who has appeared on the first page, but has 'the incident' in WSU been covered. It was in the second half starting, I think, just after they got their third. Loads of people from the south end of WSU were standing and staring at something that had occurred either in the middle or towards the north end. No idea what happened, if anything.

I saw some comments on Twitter about a Burnley fan in the WSU, he was standing up celebrating their third goal.
I’m down the other end of the WSU and didn’t hear or see anything, also haven’t seen any other mention on here.

I thought a plummer might notice that

I occasionally say to the misses when watching TV 'look at the size of those perps' :lolol:

The drainage channel on my driveway is very clear and runs downhill :D
I also haven’t got expensive cars or shite looking number plates…..you can’t buy class.

Saw a video of this lot away to Newham, some of the songs were embarrassing.

Good luck to em, I’ve never seen them first hand but any noise at this level is better than none. We try and make a few pro club songs, although some struggle with the words to Peacehaven La La La... or (Hey Jude) nah nah nah nah.....Haven....
Three or four of us know the words to 24 Hours From Telscombe but that’s about it. Eastbourne Town have the most imaginative and vocal fans in the division, Lancing had a few noisy lads but we don’t play them now so don’t know if they still go, likewise the “ultras” at East Preston seem to have disappeared (have they switched to Littlehampton?)
The only ones i didn’t really like were Chichester, sung nothing positive about their team just a continuous tired songbook of how the referee, various opposition players and the visiting fans were wankers.

Is littlehampton that rough ? I didn’t think it was - very working class but not rough .

It's all relative, isn't it? There are some genuinely deprived areas and the High Street is pretty run down, but equally there are some really nice parts of town. The problem with our location is that, despite being nominally in the 'affluent' south east of England, we are far enough away from Brighton and London for property and land prices to be relatively cheap. This combination of factors has led to it becoming a bit of a dumping ground for a certain demographic and to completely unchecked housing development on every available piece of land that isn't designated a formal AONB.

Wick's bark is worse than its bite.
It might not look pleasant on the eye , but the vast majority of people there are sound.

Don't doubt it.

The point of my OP was how, when it really mattered, there were plenty of Littlehampton following Brighton (and now a few seem to prefer non league).

Doesn't mean they'd take kindly to an American snob asking stupid questions. I wouldn't.

He was sat at the front of D block. Nobody noticed him until he jumped up to celebrate their third goal - not sure I would have lasted that long if I'd been watching Burnley all season.

Anyway, of course people were already wound up by the poor Albion performance and rather than let the bloke have his moment of celebration, a few people started screaming at stewards to kick him out. First off the stewards had a word with the bloke but when he wasn't dragged out to be horsewhipped, the brain dead idiots continued demanding his head on a spike until the stewards removed him from the stand. At that point the Burnley fan was a bit of dick and tried giving it the large one.

In all honesty, it was an embarrassing rection from our fans - especially the bloke in Row L who likes to wear shorts for most of the year and who was in more danger of having a heart attack than Albion ever were of scoring.
