LA Galaxy have placed a 'discovery notice' on Chris Birchall according to The Sun.

This means that no other MLS team can approach him, signalling their intention to sign him.

Meopham, Kent.
Wow, the MLS really is a TOP CLASS league isn't it.

They single out the absolute best and simply go get 'em.

Good luck to the bloke if it leads to move. Our crap team this year has made a very good player look distinctly average.

Indeed, they have moved quickly to put a replacement for Beckham in place, because as we all know, he is not "bigger than the galaxy". :wozza:

Chris Birchall is probably the second best option we have in central midfield at the moment wth Doug Loft the only one above him (due to his better match fitness) but obviously there's no chance Birchall will want to stay next year.

And your next joke is!!!!

Loft is the worst of the midfield players that we have and once White and Booker have gone you will not see him for dust.

Surely they have missed a trick not spotting the huge potential of the rest of our midfield. I'd love to see Jarrett / El Abd / Fraser playing in Los Angeles.

Sorry, but Birchall is not all that. Just because LA Galaxy are interested, doesn't make him any more of a player. And your talking-up of Loft is bizarre.

Neither player would be missed in the least.

Uh huh. Just as Livermore is class? Lol, i'm sure he's half decent, but unfortunately like mclard, he's overweight and ponderous.

Same Livermore that captained Millwall to the fa cup final and played 24 games in Hulls promotion season? He is half decent, just we have haven't used him properly.

It's nothing to do with the fact LA Galaxy are interested that he's more of a player than every central midfielder in our squad (bar Bangura who has been very badly off form but we don't own him anyway so he doesn't count). As much as it might amaze some people central midfielders are supposed to be able to pass the ball and create chances, it seems that at BHA we prefer central defenders in the centre of midfield. Loft or Birchall would have had more of an impact in our midfield this year than Tommy (absent) Fraser has had, shame we didn't ship him out on loan and keep Loft.
