That was an appalling decision. Firstly by the ref (there I said it) but secondly that VAR didn't call it in. Really bad decision in such a crucial game.

There is very little contact with the Wednesday player too.

It's possible the ref saw it as a dangerous tackle in live time. But VAR should have made it clear that things were nowhere near as bad as they looked. Awful decision.
