Tomasz Kuszczak signing this season could well be the difference to whether we make the Premuirship at the end of this season. Although other performances so far this season rightly gain total praise ie : CMS, Bruno, Buckley, & Bridge. Kuszczak performances have been outstanding. His reaction save from close range tonight that he managed to tip over the bar was nothing short of world class. Gus knew that getting Kuszczak signed up early on in the close season was paramount to his rebuilding strategy.
I honestly feel that he may prove to be worth an extra 10 to 12 points this season. Just ask the Reading & Southampton Managers from last season, who's Goalkeepers were on top form when it really mattered.b:clap2:

Posh end of Shoreham
We've got a big pole in the goal

Kooshack is amazing what a save in the second half tipping ball over crossbar
Our worst position last season has now been resolved

I was thinking about that on my walk home. You could have all the Spanish flair in the world, but if my mum was in goal, we wouldn't win. Goalkeepers must find it hard, because if a team wins, the strikers/midfielders take the praise, and if a team gets slaughtered, the keeper gets it in the neck! So well done Tom, keep this going for the next 41!

For me, Kuzszczak was up there as the best few players on the pitch last night. He made some absolutely stunning saves.

Two great saves of course. One was perhaps the best I have seen for years. But for me the difference he brings to the team was summed up by an interception. Cross from the left in the second half. Dangerous, low and fast. He got to it quickly and got a really strong arm to the ball. He didn't just deflect it, he cleared the ball away from the danger area. Brilliant work when needed. No wonder the defenders look comfortable in front of him.

Most games, that performance would have easily won the keeper MoM. Must have come pretty close last night also. Defence is looking fantastically tight. Fell a little bit sorry for Calderon, because he's done nothing wrong, but even the bench line-up is looking strong now.

He won us the game at burnley. Forget CMS goals, at 1 all he made a couple of world class saves when burnley were all over us.
