I know the bloke inside the Gully suit (not Doug Loft) so will ask him what happened. Seems likely he'd be in the know.

Pretty sure my mate was banging one of the catering team in the NS/ESU/WSL/WSU/SWC/SS/ESL so i'll ask him to ask her while he porks her again.

Surely if a number of people were saying the same thing they heard it from a few less others, who probably heard it from even less others, and then eventually it boils down to one original source, who may or may not be reliable.

So it's just a rumour.

Yep, this is pretty much how rumours have always worked. Except these days they spread so much quicker due to twitter and smartphones.

I heard he was ill, a bad case of crabs and he didn't want to stand in front of the north stand scratching his plums so he went home sick. Ulloa running to Calde was him passing on a message to the bench saying he thought Kaz had also got them and he needed to be subbed, to save an infestation amongst the squad, hence Kaz looking glum as he sauntered off.
Nothing sinister to see here.

People sitting behind me in Lower West said that he had a bust up when the team was announced about Bruno replacing Calderon and refused to play saying we were a joke and he was leaving at the dnd of the season and was last seen speeding out of the ground before kick off. Apparently the press were given the line that he was sick. Not sure if this is true or just a false rumour only reporting what was being said by many.

Is this just another classic case of Albion Chinese whispers? At the Blackpool game, what would happen if you put 4 individuals at 1pm on each side of the ground in the relevant bars regaling a story involving Atilla the Stockbroker, a former page three girl, a tube of lubricant and a King Charles Spaniel.

By 3pm how many fans would know about it, and how many different versions would there be?

Time will obviously tell when the team sheet is submitted at Huddersfield next weekend.

I heard it was a Cocker Spaniel.

Well precisely. Despite what some say, it is very easy to get a rumour going amongst a large crowd of people, plus with twitter and other social media, rumour mongering is dead easy to do and can spread very quickly. But I suppose it it something to talk about now we are winning again!

Funny how we don't tend to hear rumours like this every game though. Could easily be bollox, but can't help feeling there's something in it.
