Great 2nd goal, but the Swansea keeper Vorm was the best player on the pitch.

That double-save in the 2nd half (without knowing the follow-up was offside) was PHENOMENAL.

He is an absolute star. Quality, quality player. Been doing it for years in La Liga and he gives City every chance of winning the league now. He and Silva together could be frightening.

City should have also gone for Forlan as together in an overall poor Atletico team they were an outstanding partnership. But obviously we're signing Forlan!!

And he was only on the pitch for 25 minutes!!! Maybe Tevez will change his mind for a season on the back of that debut and then City would have Silva, Aguero and Tevez playing together - that could be a bit special!!

No football player will ever be worth that kind of money.

I know what you mean but just comparing him to others who cost a fortune.

last player to score twice on PL debut......???

Mido for Spurs.

Aguero looked cracking, but shall we give him a few games against some better sides before we declare him as the messiah!

How do you judge it though ? If he sold 1m shirts @£35 then financially he's worth it. If he won them the prem or the CL, then financially he's worth it. etc., etc., etc. If you compare it to costing a years salary for 2m nurses, then clearly not.

Ah Mido - didnt he get subsituted for his country (Morocco?) in the African's Nations Cup a few years back, had a hissy fit on the sidelines because he felt he shouldnt have come off, then immediately the man who replaced him went and scored the winner?
