no he is not good enough - you have to move of your line in the Premiership

not the case, the only time seaman come off his line he got lobbed other than that he stayed put.

however that is certainly fdm's real problem he needs to command his area better. but he is still class

if kuipers improved his kicking there is no way he will still be playing for us. i really think he would be in the premiership

His shot stopping is amazing, just his distribution is not the best!!

Having said that, Paul Jones use to be an awesome keeper in the premiership and his kicking yesterday was absolutly Shit!! (thats probably why he is playing in this league as well!!!

give him a new contract quickly DK or he will be signed up. Peter Taylor fancies him and other football people listen to the ex manager. Dont let this excellent player who is 10 times better than Roberts go!!!

Yep, Roberts goes awol all over the box, flaps at crosses and has spent more time injured than Michel Kuipers.

Make it 20 times better

surely you sh1t yourself everytime somebody crosses when roberts is in goal, he is a good shot stopper but no more, no the all round article which the dutchman has become since that oh so dodgy start at southend.

He was static, but against Gills did Reid call? Only saw the Wolves goal on telly. We will have to differ on this.

I will say in 2000 I was part of the play Cartwright instead of Kuipers brigade and then Cheltenham happened. When Roberts came on loan I thought he was great but then when he signed his wanderings (Tranmere last Xmas) started to worry me along with his inability to deal with crosses at pace.

I feel better with Kuipers in goal, what Mr Mcghee thinks when or if Roberts is fit will be interesting because I get the impression he prefers Roberts

Yes but did Reid call it? We will never know. What we do know is Kuipers has improved since Southend and Roberts is in the sick bay.

We also know roberts is mcghees number 1

He maybe his favourite, but if he ever gets fit (the insurance money would be useful for the Alive and Kicking fund, Ben), can he justify bringing him in at present? Kuipers has saved us more points than he has lost this season. The foul up against Wolves at home aside, he has generally been solid and his kicks have a habit of going where they should these days.

Yesterday's game was brilliant, I never thought I'd see a match where the opposition goalkeeper's kicking was ten times worse than Michel's, but there you go.

Roberts had a good season last year... no question. But the Flying Dutchman is my player of the season at the mo and has been the most consistent player in our team over the last few years.

Michel gets my vote and I won 't be surprised if he gets an offer from the Premiership... although he'll probabaly go the way of Beeney if he accepts it.
