I think it's a reasonable game for a guy who spent the vast majority of his carer playing in the bottom two divisions. Premier league opposition. Who were people expecting for Kuipers, Man Utd or Chelsea?

He had a good career with us, but he hardly set the world on fire did he?
I know a testimonial is meant to signify 10 years of outstanding service to a club, but even league 2 footballers are very well paid nowadays and are extremely well off and I can think of far more worthy recipients than to give money to than a player who averaged just 24 games a season with us.
I hope Mr Kuipers will donate his takings to a worthy cause.
Daft comment imho, more so in light of your joining date.
Are you suggesting supaseagull has only been an Albion fan since Feb 2004 (his NSC joining date) so did not watch Kuipers in action from 2000-3?
Can't see this anywhere on here, but has anybody else heard about this ?
I think he meant that supaseagull should know and appreciate all that FDM did for us, considering he obviously isn't a JCL.
I still can't find anything official on this yet
I'd even be happy with a first team Vs development squad match with Kuipers in goal for either side and Gus and Tanno getting a cameo too.
Yeah esp as FDM was earning £150k a week while playing for us.Testimonial money should always go to charity IMO, a testimonial is a public tribute to their achievements and not a cash bonus for any one individual.
Was this just your imagination on overtime?

What does he need money for, it's not like he has another 60 years to live, or have a family to provide for.
