I thought he looked solid shot stopping the saves he made, good hands, happy to catch, however he's young for a 'keeper and should be given a few years to finish maturing.Imo.

Smith is unlucky in the sense that he doesn't f***-up but still lets in shedloads of goals, but on the other hand he's weak, doesn't command the box and doesn't make any saves of note. End of as far as I can see.

That's some unlucky....he has leaked more goals than I can remember anyone else doing in so few games......

I have read some bollox on here in the past but that takes the biscuit.

His kicking is far far superior to FDM and on most occassions he actually kicks it to a Brighton player. He is always looking for a quick kick out or throw to his defenders.

He will occupy the position for the next 3 weeks as according to FDM speaking to a fan sat next to him, that is how long he will be out for

That is some statement considering your "brilliant idea" to have penalties every time a game is drawn mate!!!

I was giving the views of about 6 people watching soccer am at my house. I am in favour of anything in the administration of a league that doesnt affect changing the actual playing laws which I feel should be left alone. Penalty shoot out generally are well received.

My wife knows about these things. Before the game even started she was using her new nickname for Smith.

smith was awful today (and every other time i have seen him0. Definately at fault for second goal. Why he didn't just come out and catch the through ball is beyond me.

no communcation
back four don't trust him
He is so slow off his line
His kicking when hurried is worse than kuipers (from backpasses)
Is positioned too far off his line
Doesn't make himself big when in one on one situation instead goes to ground too quickly.

Though he does have a good throw.......that's a good reason to keep him then.

ALthough kicking is a useful attribute, I don't really care so much about it. I'd much rather he was good at saving it!
He is always looking for a quick kick out or throw to his defenders.
Usually, unfortunately, after picking it out of the back of the net........................

The Defence That Died Of Shame will be responsible for getting Smith the boot as surely as they got Salde the boot. Smith is no FDM, he's competent League One level at best, but this defence, or rather lack of defence, is causing him to get SLAUGHTERED and there's not too much he can do about it, poor bugger.
