I eagerly await the Kuipers Appreciation threads, whether Sullivan plays or not....

OK I will bite

Kuipers last 6 league games = 11 points
Hendersons last 6 league games= 1 point

Kuipers for me Edna

Let the youngster play if Kuipers is out

It's fair to say that I was no Henderson fan, as one or two of my posts may have suggested, but I would still rather have him than Blayney. I think we have two options:

a) Decide that we aren't going up or down this season, and give Sullivan a chance with no pressure on him to play his part in good results.

b) Make a Dave Beasant type signing, an older keeper who can just fill in until the end of the season, and then give Sullivan until next season to make the step up to first team action.

I actually think we should give Sullivan a go to be honest. He will make mistakes to start with, but what better opportunity to iron those out in a totally meaningless end of season?

I think we should give the youngster a chance as well because the arguments it will cause if we go for option b could cause problems when Kuipers is fit again.

If Sullivan came in and played well, then I would be the first to support him keeping Kuipers out the team. The difference between him playing ahead of Michel and a certain other recent goalkeeper would be that Sullivan clearly wants to play for the club and would do his very best in every match. He won't think he is bigger than us, and the fans would take to him I am sure. I don't think you would get the Sullivan v Michel bitchfest that many predict:lolol:

I will try my best mate and sure Chez will give it a go :lolol:

John Sullivan sat in front of me with his parents for the first 5 seasons at Withdean from Boy to Young man , suffice to say he is a 100% Albion fan through and through and a great lad as well, he attended one of the REMF games and he should be given his big chance, couldn't be more different to Wayne Henderson

Wasn't it against Forest that he did his shoulder, and had to come off?

Yes. Kris Commins was the perpetrator. I wouldn't blame him if he refused to play against Forest in the future! We then saw Chris May takeover, possibly the shortest Albion career, ever!

Spot on US, none of the other youngsters have let us down when they've had their chance and I dont think Sullivan would either.

I glanced in your direction today when Michel made that wonderful double save. To say your applause was RELUCTANT would be an understatement:lolol:

So you did not here me calling him a lazy sod for not coming off his line and pick up the ball instead of waiting and pulling off a wonder save. :lolol: That was said tongue in cheek to Portlock Seagull ;)
At least you know i am true to my word about cheering on whomever is playing for us as everyone else should:angry:

It's the only way we'll find out if the lad is up to it.

Well it would be unfair to drop someone if they played a blinder now wouldn't it:lolol: :lolol: :lolol:

Come on Chez there must be an opportunity to be had here ;)

All I can say is that I was 1 game off with my prediction that Kuipers is incapable of playing more than 2 games without getting injury. Get rid of Kipper the clown and get someone in who can be relied upon not to get injured everytime he has to do anything.

Very true. Maybe the best Albion player ever, ever, EVER?

I heard he was seen walking across Ardingly reservoir recently while on a family outing near his home, during which he also provided food for 5,000 other picnicking locals from five loaves and three fishes. As if that wasn't enough, he then healed a couple of passing lepers and helped a blind man to see, before turning the water into wine, much to the surprise of several trainee canoeists.

Is there ANYTHING he can't do?

:p
