Very nice but very unhealthy, each one is 800 calories most of which is of very little nutritional value.

I was in our local bakers and brought myself and Wifey a doughnut each.
Sadly for her they were 'fresh out', I ate mine, wandered around for a good 30 secs, couldn't find Wifey so I ate hers too.

If it wasn't for the small amount of sugar left on my face I'd have got away with it, too.

The 2 greatest doughnuts I've ever eaten.

Trad British doughnuts, cheap jammy balls of greasy pleasure, a great occasional treat. Custard variation totally yummy.

Yank Crispy Creme Donuts - No thanks, yuck too sweet and inspires gut ache !

They are just about the tastiest little treat that money can buy. I can barely go to Bluewater without getting one.

Tescos do aweful doughnuts - don't know about early morning (who would want one then ??) but they're hard and stale the rest of the time.

Dunkin Donuts are the best doughnuts and coffee in the States – with Tim Horton’s a close second

For my school's work experience week, and after refusing point-blank to work in a garage, I was offered the chance to work in a bakery. I was put on doughnuts every morning. The best job I've ever had. I used to make some to take home, with an extra squirt of jam in them.

Me and my gf bought a variety box (12 doughnuts) from the Krispy Kreme stall at Waterloo station a couple of weeks back and proceeded to munch our way through them on the journey to Twickenham. It was a bit of a poor effort, she managed 2 and I managed 3 and we ended up giving the rest away to our mates. It was quite amusing when I had to go through the bag search entrance at the stadium with just a bag full of doughnuts.
