I forgot it’s so easy for us to reach Semis, we reach them all the time.

He’s achieved more than any manager since Robson.

:lolol: Even Sven would have beaten those teams mate, I find it unbelievable people are so far up Southgates backside, we lost to every good team we played at the WC?

The same Sven that failed with the so called golden generation ?

Because not all of us believe we should be winning stuff and enjoying an England team, whilst flawed giving 100 percent.

I honestly think some people sat crossed armed during the World Cup hating it.

I think Southgate deserves credit for creating a good team morale, for runing a tight ship but being excellent with the media, for making good use of wing backs and compensating for a dearth of decent CM options, also for devising the 'queue' formation at corners that opposition defences struggled to deal with.

Having Harry Kane in your side helps too.

I enjoyed the World Cup, but let’s not pretend it was some amazing managerial feat to beat Panama, Sweden and Tunisia shall we. He’s created a good team morale I give him that, but the lauding of him is ridiculous given every good team we played we lost.

Plus using the U21s as an actual gateway to the first team.

Better last few minutes from England, the 3rd goal brought a great finish from Rashford.

Let's see next year if England can progress from flat-track qualifying bullies to genuine tournament contenders, especially with the final stages at Wembley.

Mount - tidy goal. I like the cut of the man's gib. Could be a big player for the Three Lions.

Wasn't that a Cowley bros innovation?

The main disappointment for me is that we are not getting the ball out to Hudson-Odio quick enough and when we do it is usually behind him not in front for him to run on to in his stride.

Really ? H-O was just awful. Square passes to men in blue repeatedly

As we sang at Villa, Mings is just a shit Lewis Dunk.

My post was made during half time and although he kept misplacing passes he wasnt give any encouragement with the passes to him. Perhaps if he could have run at the defender he would have faired better, or perhaps he is noit good enough yet. Defensively Mings did OK.

According to some, this is the worst England team in living memory.

Hey ho.
