I deleted fusion and started from scratch and still not there. What a shocker

On the link I posted, go to the page and hit main source. A zip file will download. Then go to kodi and go to install from zip file, you will have to locate the zip file from 'external source', which is where your downloads go. Then install the zip file and you should have learning zone installed.

OK, this is hopefully a question our helpful resident Kodi guru Swillis can help with.

I bought my dad an Amazon Firestick and had Kodi installed on it for him. Everything looks fine, its connected up with his Wifi (Sky Broadband), BUT – absolutely NONE of the streams will download. Everything I select, be it fillm or live sport, just comes up “stream not available”. His Wifi was definitely working ok because his tablet was receiving the signal just fine.

I took the Firestick home and tried it on my Wifi, and whaddya know, everything works. So its got to be something to do with his Wifi router – do Sky install something SNIDEY on their routers to screw up Kodi streams ?

Confounded, of Portslade.

Actually, a Google has brought up this Sky Broadband Shield thing. I bet that's it, I'll need to get that disabled, that's probably blocking the streams from being downloaded. Tch.

It is the broadband shield. I have sky as well and it happened to me.
If your dad cannot remember then just get him to give them a call and they can take it off for him

Metalkettle, Raspberry Pi, Firesticks, SALTS, Genesis, Halow, Robocop, Kodi....I hope somebody has blocked BensGrandad from reading this thread. I fear his brain might explode.

Downloaded the zip file. Go to instal it and it throws an error up saying dependencies not met.

Ain't gonna happen is it

Personally if I was you I would delete kodi and reinstall and we can start again. I'm 90% sure that something in your settings have been changed or you have somehow disabled learning zone. As I say fresh install and start over.

EDIT: What version of kodi are you in at the moment, never thought to ask before

I'm running version 15.2
Only been on Kodi a month and wouldn't have a clue about deleting Kodi and reinstalling it. Be too worried I'd not get it back.
Can't I just update it somehow? I see there's now a 16.1 version

Both of my fire sticks were running 15.2, both stopped working Sunday. Deleted Kodi on both then reinstalled the new 16.0 version and running fine now
