Kodi streams

Just delete the app and reinstall, you will have to reinstall the repositories again. I have tried this-

It worked perfectly for me, but others have had issues. Basically, follow the instructions and you can save all your repos and have them back on the new install of kodi in a few minutes. Give it a try, if not just do a fresh install.

Ta, uninstall and reinstall. Only had a couple of repositories so no real problem. I still can't get Sky on Live Mix and version showing is still 1.02 so have they given up or any tips? Other than that is sports devil the best default for live footie? It works but picture quality not good

I would think that the old versions of addons would be virtualy useless. Seriously mate, buy a twenty pound box from ebay or a firestick. I would personally buy the box as I can see amazon doing everything they can soon to keep kodi from being available on there devices.

I know, but it's not for my telly, it's for my office where I don't have a TV, so using a laptop or iPad somewhere on my desk is ideal, usually to watch some sporting event while I'm working. I've got it all setup fine on my TV so that isn't a problem. Given me an idea though as I have a old monitor somewhere where I'd just need a box with a scart output...

Unless you jailbreak the iPad (i.e. void any warranty and effectively hack the iOS so you're not limited to the App Store) it isn't possible. If you read a few posts previous, I was able to sideload Kodi onto an iPad from a Mac using developer tools, but it only lasted 90 days, which is now reduced to 7 days so is pointless. Jailbreaking is not to be taken lightly either, so make sure you do some thorough research before attempting it.

On your remote, you have an OK surrounded by four arrows(N,E,S,W). Around those four arrows you have four other buttons, there should be another arrow pointing northwest, press this and it brings up a mouse cursor. Use the arrows to move the cursor and the OK button to press.

I never thought you were being dim, it took me two weeks to discover I had a mouse on the remote. I spent many hours swearing at the tv when I could not click on something specific.

I'm new to this idea of streaming as I'm sick of paying Virgin a fortune for a bunch of to channels we don't need. I keep seeing ads for the Arnu Box Mach10 Linux box. Does anybody know anything about this unit, or own one and be able offer any advice(either positive or negative). Many thanks

The Amazon Firesticks are down to £29.99 on Amazon at present, and thought i'd try and do it that way. I'm absolutely bloody clueless about this!!!! Or if that isn't a great way forward, where is the best place to buy one from? Most of the ones on ebay or Amazon come from China and that seems incredibly dodgy to me.

Did anything happen after a recent update to the Fire Stick? I quite fancy a Fire Stick but reading the comments in your link, it seems the Amazon firmware update zapped the Kodi installation? Not sure if that is just an isolated case? I know Apple recently did the same with their iOS developer side loading.
