The first Victoria Cross awarded to a private in WWI was awarded to Sidney Godley from Sussex.
Thank christ people like you are on the case!Without types like you no one would know the truth that the modern royals have relatives who are German........which clearly makes them German!Well done!
No, because the Queen married Prince Philip (born in Greece of the Greek and Danish Royal families) their surname was Philip's adopted one of Mountbatten (after his mother's maiden name of Battenburg), but is now Mountbatten-Windsor. Technically, royal families don't have surnames. The Queen's ancestress, Victoria, married Prince Albert of the house of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha. They married in 1840.
You really do get bothered by the fact your British monarchy is German,
The royal families name before Windsor was Saxe-Coburg-Gotha (German). The name was adopted by King George V in 1917 due to the negative German sentiment that was prevalent in the UK during and after the First World War.

Prince William and Kate Middleton are actually related. They are 12th cousins once removed. How are they related? Sir Thomas Leighton is William’s 12th generation great-grandfather, and Kate’s 11th. The prince and kate’s wedding took place on April 29th, marking it Hitlers 66th Wedding anniversary.
The reason why the media doesn’t mention their last name is because “Windsor” the last name they adopted isn’t really the royal family’s name. Their former name was “Saxe-Coburg-Gotha”. And this was done to hide their German lineage, making the royal family actually Germans
Crab sticks do not actually contain any crab, and since 1993 manufacturers have been legally obliged to label them 'crab-flavoured sticks'.
